Our Programs
Driven Living is here to inspire those impacted by rare disease to live life to the fullest regardless of diagnosis, build a community for support and a collective voice to raise awareness, and raise funds to support organizations that provide treatment/care and conduct research, starting with SickKids.

Fundraising
Driven Living Draw for SickKids
With the permission of the SickKids Foundation, we conducted a draw/contest for prizes donated/paid for by Driven Living partners.
All tickets were sold via the Givergy online platform. SickKids received 100% of the funds raised through ticket sales, less the Givergy fees.
The Driven Living Draw for SickKids tent was at the Ontario-based FEL Motorsport races, starting with the Honda Indy Toronto, as well as at Drive Festival. The contest finished on September 10, 2023.
We have also established an online method for those that would prefer to donate directly to the hospital.
Awareness Through Racing
Racing for Rare Diseases
Eric Kunz, a SickKids' patient ambassador and a rare disease patient, is the champion of Driven Living's Racing for Rare Diseases Program.
Eric has Kaposiform Lymphangiomatosis, which is an extremely rare, complex disease (there are fewer than 100 known patients worldwide). This disease causes constant, severe chronic pain, but Eric has found that adrenaline-inducing motorsport provides respite from his chronic pain.
Eric founded Driven Living as he wants to make an impact off the track and inspire other rare diseases patients with positivity, hope, and motivation to overcome, as well as raise awareness so that they know that they are not in it alone. He would also like to drive change within the healthcare system to better support rare disease patients and their advocates.
In the 2023 season, Eric made his debut in cars, racing in the FEL Motorsports Sports Car Championship Canada (SCCC) series, in the TCA Class, finishing the season as Vice Champion. He raced in 12 races within Ontario and Quebec, including at the Honda Indy Toronto (full schedule is below).
